Supporting Law Enforcement Personnel

Federal Law Enforcement Foundation

Howard P. Milstein and the Milstein family are major supporters of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation. They underwrite the expense of staff and overhead that allows the Foundation to operate.

The Federal Law Enforcement Foundation was established in 1988 by a group of concerned business leaders who recognized that, despite the incalculable contribution law enforcement agents make to our quality of life, their families’ economic needs are not always met if a tragedy occurs.

Originally, the Foundation provided financial support to the families of FBI agents killed in action. As the Foundation grew, assistance was extended to personnel from all federal and local law enforcement agencies. Economic assistance was also offered to agents suffering from serious illness or who gave service during natural disasters or anti-terrorist events. In addition, the Foundation provides college scholarships to agents’ children.
