"Milstein Hall of Ocean Life" opens COVID-19 Vaccination Center
April 30th, 2021The American Museum of Natural History announced the opening of a COVID-10 vaccination center in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life under the iconic “blue whale,” which is much beloved by children of all ages. To build excitement and support the theme, an adhesive bandage was placed on the whale’s flipper. Howard Milstein said, “It has been nearly 20 years since my family supported the renovation of Milstein Hall to ensure new generations could experience the wonders of science, nature and sustainable environments. We now look to ensure the health and safety of all New Yorkers as the city reopens and renews. I am honored to play a role in that effort.”
