Since April 2021, a COVID-19 vaccination site in Milstein Hall of the American Museum of Natural History has served nearly 100,000 people.  As of the end of March 2022, the site will close, and, starting April 1, a New York City mobile vaccination bus will serve anyone seeking a walk-in vaccination and the museum will serve as a distribution site for free, at-home COVID-19 tests.  An ongoing COVID-19 education initiative to help the public better understand viruses, vaccines, and public health is supported by Howard Milstein and his family.
